Some engraving testing on Ivory cardboard. Interesting to see what in fact the laser is doing (when magnified) and the influence of different settings. Power 0-25, speed 80-100 mm/s, Z level 0/-5 LD 0,1-0,2.
This is the first prototype for a boardgame insert. The game is 7 Wonders. The Insert/Organizer speeds up the game setup. It has some nice play-helpers - you can just take out a small box for the coins or for the victory points - and it fits the basegame and four expansions into the original box.

The laser engraving is about 15x20 cm on 4 mm MDF speed/power 100/20. I will try other settings soon.

The big ones are 470x650mm. I’m still searching max speed/better quality. It took about 90-100min for each

If your oven is a bit smaller then the previous one, there is some messy space to hide. Measure, sketch, design, lasercut and priming in one day. Only the final colour to choose
