I am suffering from constant disconnects as soon as i start a job. The error log says “Machine disconnected” twice.
In Detail: The head starts moving, and as soon as the lasering begins, laserweb (running on Windows 10) tells me that the machine disconnected (twice) and Windows agrees.
The laser finishes the current operation, then stops.
I have to wait a few seconds, then the machine is reconnected. Windows finds the fabkit and opens a explorer window, i can also reconnect it in laserweb.
Then i can actually continue the job. However, one cut is lost. If the machine was just cutting a square it is instead cutting a triangle.
That problem never occurs during a job, so once it actually starts cutting, no problem until i start the next job.
I could be wrong here but i have the feeling one of the fans also stops and starts again when that happens. It feels like the Fabkit is doing a small reboot.
My current workaround is to start the job with a small engraving somewhere off board but this is time-consuming and slightly annoying.
Does anyone have a similar problem and has found a solution?
