Should hopefully never have a need for it but good to have one standing by. Always cut and engrave with the compressor connect this will prevent fires and flares most of the time.
Their are many to chose from, anything which will block the wavelength 10,600nm is suitable OD 5 and up safety rated classes would be recommended. Personally I am comfortable with just standard polycarbonate goggles but thats my own risk, as they dont carry any official ratings.
