I haven’t used my laser for a while due to other RL activities taking precedence. Tonight my daughter needed to laser something for her schoolwork, so I turned on everything, and the cooler started beeping and showed an Error…
I’ve had that happen before, and I assumed it was the same reason, it being too cold (and below the set temperature of the cooler), however, it did not go away, even once the water was warmer than the set temperature…
I looked closer and it showed E05, which, as far as I can find, has to do with the flow rate. I drained the system, and flushed it with 2 full buckets of water. I then disconnected the waterlined to the tube and hooked up a waterhose to the inlet tube, and opened the tap. I ran a good amount of water through, and then hooked up the outlet back to the cooler’s inlet, and kept the tap running until there was a reasonable flow of water coming out of the cooler. At that point I also hooked up the other line again, and filled the cooler to the top.
I turned on the cooler, heard the pump start pumping the water, and a few airbubbles later, the water in the vat was turning clockwise as usual.
Unfortunately the beeping came back, as did the E05!
I have turned on and off the cooler a few more times, just to ensure no more trapped air was in there, but that did not help.
The exact sequence:
- Power on
1a) The pump starts immediately
1b) The measured temperature and the set temperature appear and the RUN LED comes on
- A few seconds later I hear a click, but nothing else
- About a minute (probably less) in, the beeping starts, the E05 appears.
I am at wit’s end, and could use some tips!
